I had an absolutely adorable weekend getaway at this charming hotel nestled in a quiet valley. The hotel is part of a historic monastery complex at the foothills of the Harz mountains, making it the perfect location for exploring the beautiful surroundings. The modern interiors of the hotel didn't spoil the experience at all, and I found the rooms to be clean and comfortable with good wifi. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that everything was taken care of during my stay. The breakfast served was delicious and the prices of both the rooms and the meals were very reasonable. I highly recommend trying the fish-based dishes at the attached restaurant, they were excellent.
All was well during my stay.

There were a few negative aspects to our stay. the payment methods were outdated and didn't accept commonly used international credit cards.

The hotel was located in a peaceful valley surrounded by lush woods, which made for nice walks in nature. the rooms were clean, modern and equipped with good wifi, making our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was good quality and there was a restaurant attached to the hotel that was reasonably priced and offered delicious food.
There was no bar or possibility to have an after-dinner drink, which was a downside. the payment machine only accepted cash, which could be inconvenient for visitors, and there was no payment by credit card available.
